5. Goody's ghost. This apparently was not a real ghost pic but a fake made by Hampton photographer Ralph Morang. Hampton Court, London (2003) itself gave some interesting footage in itself as u can see in the 3rd pic. It was made by a security camera.
2. Wem Town Hall in Shropshire, England 1995. This was taken during the fire which burned down the town hall.
In case u couldn't find the "ghost" images in the movie. Here they are in larger format. Also added the original images i used. I'll do 1 per post so it doesn't get too messy.
1. The original image below was taken at Bachelor's Grove Cemetery, Chicago, IL in 1991.
Made on my first weekend there (last weekend of March '08). You often find this on busy Florida street downtown but this one was taken on Plaza San Martin. Of course u can take a cab there but if u wanna do it more as it is done there u can either take the subway to Retiro (Linea C). When u get out of the railway station it's already visible on the right in the distance. Or when u start on Plaza the Mayo u walk passed the Cathedral (the large building with the huge columns) and follow that street until Florida starts on ur right. From the cathedral that's bout 200-300 mtrs. Walk all the way through Retiro. U will cross some major avenues on the way and have to get passed the "muggers'" who try to lure u with tickets and clubs (very annoying). That is a reason why i avoid Florida mostly because they smell ur a tourist :p. At the end of Florida is a little square and when u cross the street u get to the park. And this movie was made just across that street.
Too bad it has no sound.
To start at the beginning of the trip:
This is for the flying freaks like me. Arrival at Ezeiza Intl Airport, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I basically started filming over Uruguay. You see overview of Buenos Aires. Also Palomar airport can be seen (that is if u can in this small Youtube format :p)
We made some turns giving some nice view of the surrounding areas.
Also extending the flaps etc can be seen nicely.
Only one thing happened. Obviously i had my finger too close to the Stop button, so when we touched down it stoped filming. Took me a bit to realize unfortunately. Ending with some taxiing towards the gate.

You all may have seen the webcam images on the site here. I went to one of those places to make a picture. First u get the webcam image and then one of mine. If u look at the webcam image u can see maybe the subway exit. The pic i made is taken at that spot more or less facing into the direction of the left hand corner on the bottom. This is also a place where often the webcam is pointed. So check it regularly. When it has changed positions u can see the exact same stores.
It is the intersection Av.Pueyrredón y Av. Rivadavia where Plaza Miserere or Plaza Once is. The subway exit u see (on the Plaza itself) is from Linea A which runs from East to West starting at Plaza de Mayo in Caballito. Soon it will run upto Av. Nazca in Flores. Linea H is also starting there (for now) running North - South.

I also made a 12 second movie but that isn't ready yet. Will post that later.
Returned yesterday. Haven't posted for some days. Wanted to live the last days there fully without having to do anything else. It sucks to leave there every time. When i went this time i wanted to see how i felt returning after almost 9 months. As a tourist this time. But actually it doesn't matter. It will always feel home. A place i will want to go with some regularity. It never felt as a vacation place but as a place where i belong. I don't even know if that makes any sense.
I didn't make as much pics and movies as i wanted. Now that i think about that it is because it doesn't do justice to that feeling of being here. It would be a mere distorted reflection of an experience.
Do i regret leaving last June? As for the reason why i went then no. Leaving this time was more intense actually. Because i realized how much i had missed it and had come passed the reason for the actual leaving back then.
The last days specifically i took in all the sounds and images and smells. And when i close my eyes i can still see it and hear it. The sounds of steps on the pavement, the brush of air against ur skin. Maybe u know what i mean.

Already half way! OMG time goes so fast! Haven't made up my mind yet about where to go today. Weather is still good. Except for the rain in the early evening a few days ago it has been dry.
Well, no Plaza Dorrego today. I went there alright but at the wrong time. Not much to do. Didn't want to wait until the afternoon. Sundays are supposed to be better. So i went to Once and this time did find some clothes :)
Mañana i don't know yet. Will see.
Ok, having some probs with the laptop. Had constant heat shutdowns and by checking it seems the cooling fan is kinda coming to it's end. Every time the machine starts i have to see if it comes on and sometimes help it a little cranking it up. Let's hope it will hold.
Today much was closed. Malvinas Day i believe. yesterday was for Recoleta Cementary. Made pic and movies and already got to editing it and making it ready for Youtube. Approx 5.5 minutes. Uploading it will have to wait after i get back. Upload speed is rather crappy here.
Regarding the Subway. I found out that Line A is still ending at Primera Junta. They are getting the stations ready up to the last one called: Nazca. Linea H, the yellow one, seems to be working. i Still haven't tried it. Will do that for sure.
Still planned: La Boca and more special Caminito. When u say that u say Tango. Also wanna go to Plaza Dorrego (more tango) and also wanna visit a Tango Club hopefully this weekend.
Also still need to buy clothes at Once. Was there but couldn't find something really. Need to try again.
In 9 months quite some progress has been made on the Subway net. I have posted about it before. H - line (Yellow) is now almost (if not completely) done creating a second North - South connection crossing other already existing lines cutting short on travel time for a lot of people.
Line A (the oldest) which before stopped at Primera Junta has now been extended. I think u can travel up to Avenida Carabobo right now. Some stations are still in the making as the one i'm looking at right now: Plaza Flores. But above ground it seems pretty much done. I don't think it will take too long for that to complete.
There was another line i think P - line. I will have to check that out. So more about that later.
O yes, the prices have increased. For example bus and subway. Bus used to be 80 Centavos and is now 1 Peso. The Subway was 70 Centavos and is now 90 Centavos. The coffee I'm having right now (Doble expresso) is 6.5 Pesos. And that is not downtown. U easily pay 10 pesos there.
Other prices have increased too. Inflation, Also a not so good Dollar - Peso rate. When i was still here they always kept it around 3 Pesos for 1 US $. That couldn't be kept.
All in all if u live here and don't see ur income rise u have a harder time for an already hard time for most. For me familiar shops have closed as well. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Passed the weekend already. Yesterday little PC probs so i couldn't connect. But those who know me: i always bring everything to fix it :)
Yesterday went for quite a walk down the streets. Parque Rivadavia. For the rest took it easy for a change.
Today i wanna see to head to Once. Supposedly the place to get clothes and cheap. After that not sure yet. Need to get some items for folks still.
O and yes Plaza Once is also the place of one of the 3 webcam images i have here. let's see if i can find it and make a pic from the ground :)
Beautiful weather again. Went to the city so far. Made a nice video of tango dancers in Plaza San Martin. Needs some editing and uploading. So as said later.
Now enjoying lunch at the same spot as yesterday. Only place to have a reasonable connection that i found.
For the night not sure yet. Yesterday night i went downtown and obviously found prices to be very expensive. I paid 14 pesos for a glass of beer. That's 3 US $ or a little less in Euro's. So i wanna see to hang out in the neighborhood. Plenty of places here too.
First post from a restaurant with Wifi connection. Milan didn't work out unfortunately. On the flight from Milan i was lucky. The 2 seats next to me were not taken so i could lie down and get some sleep. That was a first time.
The weather is great actually. Rested a bit and took a shower.
And about now arrives the pizza: Roquefort with beer. Good start huh? Plans for tonight? Haven't made any yet.
Made some pics and movies on the flight. Needs uploading and converting here and there. Obviously not a good idea in a public internet location. Sorry guys! Ya'll have to wait.
At Amsterdam Airport. All seems to go smooth so far. Luggage checked in and now some time to look around and logon :)

Well about to head out finally. This will be my last post from home for awhile. Obviously i will depend heavily on wireless and WiFi for the coming weeks to get on and hence to make posts. There will be a lot to post but most will be after i get back due to data restrictions. Everyone knows how large it can get if u upload a lot of pictures.
What i wanna try to do if i get a chance is to post on the move. I do have a stop-over in Milan. We'll see! W00t!!
As for now weather forecast for here, stop-over and arrival is good. No delays at this moment. Got the BB loaded with good music so i don't have to be bored :))
