Avenida Pueyrredón en route to Abasto 5

The typical Abasto form from a distance. This is from Avenida Corrientes now. Yes, that is the same one that crosses the Obelisk. Second picture is from the Abasto facade much closer and comes from the internet. I took another entrance. See next post.

As you can see subway stations are never far away. And on the other side of entrance they have a map. So if you had no clue where you were at that point it is easy to find.

This guy has a portable coffee shop although he is just grabbing something below it and barely visible behind it. You can get coffee, tea etc. You see that in more places in the city. They are usually much cheaper than regular coffee places or restaurants. I have no idea about the quality of it because i never tried. In general coffee here is fuerte (strong). A bit like espresso in Europe but then a full cup. I didn't try because i'm pretty particular with my taste of coffee.

And you see some strange things. What is this dog doing in this box??? Is she going to send it somewhere?

The Abasto which is basically a big shopping mall in an interesting archiectural setting is not sofar from Plaza Miserere. This is Avenida Pueyrredón en route there. That road was quite busy as you can see.

Avenida Pueyrredón y Plaza Miserere

This is from Avenida Pueyrredón looking towards Avenida Rivadavia. Avenida Pueyrredón is also a main artery of the city (East-West). You can also see on the right the entrance to the subway station Linea A. Linea H which is under construction will also stop here at a 90 degree angle shortening the travel for many passengers in the future. I also put here again the map of the subway system so you can orient a bit where the Plaza is. As you can see it is quite a central place in the city. If you want to read about the Subte (Subway) i made a post last month already. See here.
