McLaren could be excluded from 2007 F1 championship

The McLaren Formula One team could face expulsion from the 2007 Formula One world championship. The Woking based team now awaits the outcome of the World Motor Sport Council meeting in Paris.

In Paris the World Motor Sport Council started its hearing at 10.00am at the FIA headquarters. It was expected the hearing would end around 15.00 but already around lunchtime it became clear the hearing would take longer.

When the WMSC believes McLaren is found guilty in the spy saga the team will most likely be excluded from the 2007 Formula 1 season.
