Verstappen to return in F1 at Belgian Grand Prix?

The Spyker Formula 1 team could pull out a stunt by running former Formula 1 driver Jos Verstappen during a free practice session. Spyker's sponsor Trust came up with the idea to place 'Jos the boss' in the car as he could perhaps help the team forward, even though Verstappen hasn't been in a Formula 1 car for four years at least.

Although things aren't even close to a deal yet Spyker F1 director Michiel Mol was positive about Trust's idea. "Trust CEO Michel Perridon came up with this idea. To be honest I think it could be an interesting idea but we didn't even talk about this yet with him. I'm willing to talk to both Trust and Verstappen about this idea. Maybe he can test our car at a test session or on free practice session. We would certainly not consider him to replace one of our drivers though," Mol told GPUpdate.net

Trust CEO Michel Perridon explained to GPUpdate.net: "It's just an idea we came up with. Michiel Mol and Jos Verstappen are enthusiastic about the whole thing. Let's hope Verstappen's experience can help the team move forward. Nothing has been signed yet so it isn't certain that things will really work out. We would still need to talk to Verstappen's management to work this out but if Verstappen would be in the car it would be probably only at the Belgian Grand Prix in a free practice session."
