Colder...

Nights are getting colder. Close to 3 Celsius. Max in the day is around 15 Celsius. But it's clear skies and sunny. Since the houses are not so air tight inside it cools down too. Time for electric heaters and stoves again. The gas stove we have is 20+ years old and needs to be replaced i'm afraid. The amount of heat that comes off is minimal. Was already last winter. And central heating is a luxury not much have here. So more sweaters at the same time is a solution. Yes i am surely a summer person in that regard. But what i like about the winter is that the evening gets longer. Time to make it nice when it is dark. At least that's what i used to do. Here it seems there is not much care for that. Win some, loose some. At the moment maybe the balance is more on the latter...
