Massa eyes fresh start from pole
Felipe Massa is determined to turn over a new leaf and kick-start his championship campaign after claiming a dominant pole position in Bahrain. The Brazilian took his second pole of the season and is aiming to make up for his Malaysian nightmare.
"Malaysia was for sure disappointing, starting from the front row knowing that we had a stronger car than we showed in the race," Massa said. "It was very disappointing for me to lose that position at the start and the mistakes in the middle of the race, but hopefully this time we can show a good result."
"I'm happy to be here and try to do the best we can because I really need a good result," he added. "The car is competitive, we showed how quick it was today in qualifying when we knew everyone was on the same fuel and yesterday we showed good pace on the long runs. Hopefully we can put things together and start the championship a little bit differently to the last two races."
