Our money

In Argentina we carry the Argentine Peso (code ARS). It uses the $ sign which is a bit confusing at first. However to make the distinction between Peso and US Dollar we write $ and US$ respectively. Currently the exchange between the 2 is around one on three. 3 Pesos for 1 Us Dollar. We have coins from 5 Centavos (Cents) to 1 Peso. Bills are the 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 Peso bill.

Let me give you an example of a coin and a bill. You can find more on Wikipedia but that article is not entirely correct anymore. It shows bills and coins which are no longer in use.

Un Peso (1 Peso)

Veinte Pesos (20 Pesos)
