Nuestra Señora de Luján

This makes a nice post for a sunday.

Nuestra Señora de Luján or Our Lady of Luján is the Patroness of the Nation. You find Her image everywhere. Little shrines around the city but also standard as a big sticker on the window screen at the back of the colectivo or bus.

The history is ages old and starts around 1630. If you want to read more about the history of the Virgin you can find more here.
