Facturas

Ok, a bit more food. :) Just before dinner time here.

Facturas today. These are cakes of various kind. Often eaten during the mate drinking. Also you can get them with your breakfast if you decide to eat outdoors for example. But more often with breakfast one takes medialunas. Coffee with medialunas is a very typical Argentine breakfast. Something for another post about medialunas.

Facturas have all kinds of filling. Jelly, dulce de leche, creme etc. You often buy them by the dozen. Because they are so integrated in the daily food chain for all they are cheap as well. And don't you think they look delicious? :D
