Dulce de Leche

If you like sweet? Then this maybe something for you. It's literally translated as: Sweet of milk. It tastes like caramel. The basis is full milk, sugar and sodium bicarbonate as emulsifier. And when i say it's sweet it's sweet!! Sweet as in your teeth almost falling out.

DDL you find in many deserts,on cakes, icecream, in candy on medialunas (croissant)etc. You find it from large manufacturers but better are the "artesanal" or home-made ones.

Typically Argentines eat 3 to 5 kilo's of this stuff a year so there has to be some supply.
